Well I wish we could say that we went to Italy this weekend, but we certainly had a bunch of fun. This weekend Grammy and Grandpa were in town and ironically we ended up doing a bunch of activities that related back to Italy. First we went to the Michaelango exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. There were 12 private pieces that have never before been available for public viewing. They were pretty amazing. Next we grabbed some gelatto from a place near Pike's Market. I had hazelnut and pear, Grandpa had Tiramisu and Grammy had the pear and raspberry. All sooo yummy.... Finally, we went to dinner with Grammy's brother, Jim, and his family at Buca Di Beppos. We've eaten there before, but it sure is a lot of fun with 13 people. All in all it was a great weekend.
On an unrelated note, Ellie has her first cold. She's been coughing and congested for the better part of the weekend. Poor baby.
