A New Friend

This weekend Whitney and Kellan came to visit! I was so excited to have Whitney here for my birthday weekend and we got to do some wedding planning. But apparently Ellie has found a new friend. She really loves both Whitney and Kellan, but this morning she was all about Kellan. She even sat in his lap as he ate his french toast, which was impressive since she hadn't been interested in food all weekend. She then proceeded to pick up a piece, dip it in syrup, and eat it. Little kids can be so smart.

Pigtails

Ellie's hair is growing soooo fast! We got to put pigtails in her hair the other night. It looks pretty good, plus it hides the fact that her hair has grown in as a mullet. Oh ya, and did I mention that she's a ham?

Marshmellow Lover

I was trying to take a picture of Ellie the other day and was bribing her to look at the camera with marshmellows since she loves them (following in Cousin Carter's footsteps). In my attempt to take a picture, she grabbed the whole container, dumped it out, grabbed two handfuls (about 10) and shoved them in her mouth. Silly girl...

Bath Time

For Christmas Ellie got a TONS of new bath toys. Which was great because she really didn't have too much to keep her entertained in the tub long enough for me to wash her. She loves her new toys and bath time!

Happy New Year - 2011

New Year's Eve we headed to some friends house for appetizers, games, and drinks. Ellie got to hang out with her friend Jillian. We had a blast playing Wii games for prizes! It was a riot to watch all of us wiggle on the Fit board!

Christmas Pictures

So I am a bad mommy and totally didn't take ANY pictures at Christmas (at either of our parents houses). Sad story. So today before we took down our Christmas tree I snapped a few of Ellie in her Christmas outfits.

Playing in the Snow

We've had plenty of snow since November. Not so much new snow in December until last Wednesday. We woke up to 6 inches at our house and still snowing. Thursday, Jared took the day off and we got to play in the snow with Ellie for the first time! She wasn't a fan of sitting in it by herself, but loved the sled rides.

Watching Football

A couple nights ago Ellie was lounging with Daddy watching football. Too cute!

Santa

Last year Ellie loved Santa - because she was sleeping at only 1 month old. This year a completely different story. Maybe it was that she was due for a nap, or maybe its just that she's at that age. Either way, this picture cracks me up. Poor Santa.
