A family trip and a bit of that summer feeling...

February brings those winter blues, but heading to a place where it brings you closer to the summer months helps, especially when that place is only about an hour from home. We headed out to Silver Mountain to spend a little time in the water park - heated to a nice 75 degrees or so. We also got out to the top of the mountain to do a little tubing!

Ellie was on the mend from an ear infection and while we were there Ry's cold got worse. Unfortunately his breathing had me a bit worried, so bright and early Sunday morning Jared made the 40 min drive back to Coeur d' Alene to take him to Urgent Care. Fortunately nothing too bad, but because of the RSV he had as an infant, he occasionally has a tough time when it impacts his lungs. They put him on an albuterol treatment and some steroids for a few days and that did the trick.

Such a beautiful day!

Our brave little man who not only did this slide by himself, but wanted to go down the big kid slide with mama over and over!

Ellie and her best friend Jillian - so glad they got to come with us!

Up the gondola - not so much a fan of the clank as we went over the support poles.

All smiles up the hill for this girl.

I took Ry on his first trip down the tubing hill and Pop Pop took him many times over there after. Ry was not too thrilled his first go, but loved it more and more as he kept at it!

Before our race down the hill. Jared kicked my butt!

Going down the mountain and still not so excited about it. But Nana's snuggles made it better.
