Coeur d Alene Hike

I've been wanting to get outside and go for a hike. Jared talked me into going to CdA for the day to hike Tubbs Hill. As it turns out, neither of our kids have the stamina to walk/hike much more than from the parking lot to this hill (which goes through a flat park) and it wouldn't have been appropriate for a stroller. Jared ended up carrying Ryan much of the hike and Ellie requested to be done about 4 min in. But we managed to get them further than expected! It was a beautiful day for it all.

Following our hike, we got to spend time in McEwen Park which has apparently been recently re-done or is just generally a new park. It had a wonderful play area with a sand box, toy structure and a splash pad. Glad we brought suits because both kids thought it was amazing. More splash pads in our future!

We finished the afternoon at a burger joint that had quite the line so we figured it must be good. And it was. So good that even the fry sauce was edible by it self apparently - or maybe that's only if you're Ryan.
