Easter

We started off the Easter weekend by dying eggs at Grandma and Pop Pop's house! The kids had a blast and really showed their little personalities as we dyed 4 dozen eggs. Case was eager to dye his eggs, but stil1 learning how to be gentle with the eggs. Carter was the pro, he was gentle and efficient at dying his eggs. Ellie was the patient and soft one. She was slow to get her's in the dye and liked help from mama. On Sunday, our family went to breakfast and then when we got home headed out to fly Ellie's new kite. She was pretty cute trying to hold it as it pulled her (walking) down the street since the wind was pretty strong. Jared stepped in to help and she ended up stripping her coat and boots off as she got distracted and played with other stuff.
Ellie saw Nana taking pictures of her with her iPhone and then she subsequently wants to take pictures. The challenging part is that Ellie doesn't really aim anywhere in particular. So in order to help her out, Jared got down way low where Ellie was 'pointing' the phone/camera and posed for her. Too funny!
She also managed to take this super cute self portrait, along with a few others (but this one is my favorite).
