Friday marked Ellie's 4 month 'birthday' and yesterday she had her checkup and 4 month panel of immunizations. She's continuing to grow VERY SLOWLY and as her doctor says she's still in the range of "petite girl growth." :)
She weighed 10 lbs 11 oz - which was lucky that we got that, because she was kicking, kicking, kicking on the scale and made it very difficult to get a good reading. She managed to hold still just long enough to get a decent reading. This weight is in the 3%ile which is down from her 5%ile weight at her 2 month checkup.
Her height is 23.75 inches - in the 29%ile - again much decreased from her 50ish percentile at the last checkup.
And finally her head circumfrence which is holding steady at 17%ile or 39.8cm.
She surprised mommy and daddy when she got her shots though! The nurse poked one thigh, she winced, poked the other thigh, she winced, cried two seconds and went back to happy baby!! Such a tough cookie!!
But all in all she's really healthy. She sits upright really well on her own, holds her rattle and other toys, talks, laughs, and is showing signs of some attempts to roll over.
She's another strong Haight woman!
