Bumbo

Ellie is now strong enough to hold up her own head. So we let her sit in her Bumbo chair! She really did a good job keeping herself upright!!

A Walk at Greenlake

It was another almost 60 degree day here in Seattle. All the cherry blossom trees are in bloom and there were people all about enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. We decided to make our first trip around Greenlake - and use Ellie's new stroller. She really enjoyed it, staying awake for the entire walk!!

A Late Happy Valentine's Day!

Last weekend we got to meet Case Patrick Anderson, Ellie's newest cousin. He looked sooo tiny - even though he was still bigger than Ellie when she was born. How quickly they grow and we forget how little they were.

A Walk in the Park

Today is a beautiful day in Seattle! Its warm and sunny. We decided to take Ellie for a walk. We found a nice park near the Fauntleroy ferry station called Lincoln Park. It had access to the sound, a long paved path and some trails. There were lots of other visitors - kids, dogs, and runners.

Go Red...

Friday was Go Red for Women day! February 5th marks a visual day to remind and inform everyone that heart disease is the #1 killer of women. Ellie and I wore red to participate in this educational day!

Clothes Head

One of Jared's favorite things while I was pregnant with Ellie was to put her clothes on top of my head while I was putting them away.

Well last night, Ellie got her turn - but this time it was mommy who was leaving clothes on her head.

An Italian Weekend

Well I wish we could say that we went to Italy this weekend, but we certainly had a bunch of fun. This weekend Grammy and Grandpa were in town and ironically we ended up doing a bunch of activities that related back to Italy. First we went to the Michaelango exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. There were 12 private pieces that have never before been available for public viewing. They were pretty amazing. Next we grabbed some gelatto from a place near Pike's Market. I had hazelnut and pear, Grandpa had Tiramisu and Grammy had the pear and raspberry. All sooo yummy.... Finally, we went to dinner with Grammy's brother, Jim, and his family at Buca Di Beppos. We've eaten there before, but it sure is a lot of fun with 13 people. All in all it was a great weekend.

On an unrelated note, Ellie has her first cold. She's been coughing and congested for the better part of the weekend. Poor baby.

Ellie has a sweet spot for Grammy.

Ellie loves when Grandpa talks to her.
