Ryan is 4 Months
Another month has passed and Ryan is 4 months old. He's pretty silly these days developing his little personality. He's found his feet and loves to play with them. He also loves his big sister! He seriously lights up and smiles the biggest smile ever when he can hear her or see her. He's finally stopped spitting up massive amounts after each feeding! YEA for that! As for appearances - he's still sporting some baby blues and I don't think they are going any where! We also have a little blondie! His hair is coming in quite a bit and its all blonde peach fuzz. What to do with a little blonde boy?!?
One of the other newest tricks that Ryan has is putting his hands up clasped together above his head. It brought back memories of Ellie doing the same thing and I was able to find this picture! It amazed me how much they really do look alike at this age.

Cousins
For Father's day all the grand kids were over at Grandma's and Pop Pop's! We got our first picture of Jackson and Ryan together and we attempted to take a 5 cousins picture - it's a lot harder than it seems. :) I love the last picture where Ellie's trying to flash us and Ryan's beginning to freak out.
Babies Babies Babies
This weekend I got to meet Mr. Max and see the beautiful Sydney again. A couple of my girlfriends had babies just shortly after Ryan was born. Sydney (Kristin's little girl) was born at the end of April and Max (Jessica's little boy) was born at the end of May! So excited to have all these little babies around to spend time with and of course another reason to see their mamas!

Back to Work
Wednesday the 23rd of May was my first day back at work after 12 wonderful weeks of being at home with Ryan. I felt less emotional about leaving him than I was with Ellie. I am sure part of it was that I was home a whole month longer wiht him than I was with Ellie and that he was going to the same daycare that Ellie's at - knowing who he's going to be with made it a lot easier. He's made the transition pretty well too! He takes his bottles really well, unlike Ellie did.
Its only been 7 days back at work, but already I am feeling the difference in having two kids and being a working mom. Evenings are just as busy at home as they are at work. Clean bottles and breast pump, make dinner, feed Ryan, bathe both kids, and about the time Ellie goes to bed I have 20 min to relax if I'm not still cleaning and then its time to feed Ryan again. The great news is that Ryan (and Ellie) are such great kids and they do make it easy on us. They are playful and fun rather than whiny and crying making our time together in the evenings fun and not stressful.
Baby Jackson
Back on May 7th, we became the proud Auntie and Uncle and cousins to baby Jackson! Jared's sister Ashley had a handsome baby boy only 10 weeks after Ryan. Similar to Ellie and our nephew Case (3 months apart) they are bound to be super good buddies.
Ryan's 3 Months
Its a little late - but Ryan turned 3 months on the 27th of May! He's soooo big - probably not much bigger than an average baby at least in weight but certainly bigger in height.
Potty Training
Ellie's well into potty training these days. Its been about 2 and a 1/2 weeks and she's doing great! She has had very few accidents since the first week and even now is beginning to poop in the potty. The first time we got her to go, we bribed her with the option to go to the store and pick out whatever she wanted. This is what she came home with!
Then she got to use it the next weekend with her cousins, Case and Carter! So much fun.
