Well Ellie has accomplished a new feat! She can roll over from belly to back. We were practicing a lot last night and she was getting sooo close. And then today - voila! We clapped and said "YEA Ellie" and she got really excited too, smiling and giggling for us.
Another special milestone - we finally graduated to size 2 diapers. She needs the length up the back and front more than the width. Most size 2 diapers say that the baby wears these at approx. 14 lbs. That would be great if Ellie finally gained that weight. But let me tell you, she still is not big. Guess we will find out in two weeks at her 6 month check up.
Finally but not least - Ellie has found her voice. She screams (in a happy way) and jabbers "mama mama mama...." A LOT! Super cute!
We are working on getting some videos up on the blog, but having some issues with our video camera battery. Get them up soon.

Happy 5 Months Ellie!
Baby girl turned 5 months on Monday...how time flies! Ellie is constantly changing and developing her own little personality. At 5 months she:
- Loves to talk (even to the Mariners announcers on TV)
- Giggles all the time for daddy
- Sits upright (with assistance from pillows or her Bumbo)
- Still sleeping mostly through the night
- Getting closer and closer to rolling over
- Loves to eat her toys, hands, or just about anything she can get close to her mouth
She'll probably kill me later for sharing this all with you or decide that we were horrible parents....either way, Jared and I had to share this with you. While we were out on Saturday at lunch, Ellie decided to make a mess of herself (and almost me!). Sad story was we didn't have a change of clothes in the diaper bag....just a pair of tights. Here's what she looked like when we got home.

Happy 26th Birthday Daddy!
Yesterday was Jared's 26th Birthday! In celebration, we headed to the Mariners game with Matt and Brittany. When we came through the gate into the stadium, the ticket lady mentioned that Ellie could get a certificate for her first Mariners game outing at Guest Services. So we headed over picked one up and even found out that they have a Nursing Room at the stadium! How lucky we were!

Needless to say, Ellie LOVED her first Mariners game. And of course, we had fun too - they won 4-2. GO M's!

MIA for a couple of days
We headed to Portland this weekend to visit Ellie's great-grandpa. I have lots of cute pics to share from the weekend, but don't have the energy to upload and watermark them just yet. We ate at the Clackamas Applebee's and Jared, my mom and I all got food poisioning. Good thing my dad escaped this one - he's been handling Ellie all morning. I'll post in just a few days once we are recooperated.

A Very Busy Easter Weekend
We had a wonderful, yet busy weekend. Mom and Dad put on 900 miles again traveling to Moses Lake, Spokane, back to ML, Touchet and finally back to Seattle. Ellie got to hang out at Grammy's and Grandpa's while we were in Spokane picking out interior finishes for our new house. Our pictures from the weekend are in this neat slideshow that I am trying out for the first time! Enjoy!!
