Ryan is 8 Months Old

Ryan is another month older! He's still got no teeth - poor guy. But he does really well guming his food in between his gums.

He's not quite crawling yet, but oh so close. If he wants to move towards something, he bounces on his butt. Almost like Ellie's butt scoot, but more like a hop. He can then lean over his legs to the point where he's up on all fours to reach it, but either goes back to his butt or falls over onto his stomach and rolls over to his back. He still hates being on his belly, so when he starts crawling it will be from a sitting position.

He's also starting to talk! He said 'dada' the other day and Jared thought it was a fluke, until he prompted him and he said it again. Our daycare provider confirmed it too! I'm not surprised he's an early talker with as much jabbering as he does - like Ellie used to.
